BBI Detailed Plan of Action

The following is the summary of closed door talks held at Naivasha yesterday on 3rd November 2020:

1. President Uhuru and Hon. Raila's MPs/senators allies from different counties were present while Dp Ruto and allies were absent

2.According to the source, Uhuru castigated Ruto's campaigns and reiterated that Ruto is privy to the process .

3.President uhuru gave three names of members of the 14 members task force commitee which will speared the BBI initiative. He brought in Haji, Bishop Peter Njenga, Maison Leshomo and Bishop Lawi

4.Raila's side gave 7names of members to be included in the taskforce

5.Talking to press,Westland MP Timothy Wanyonyi confirmed the issue of Dp Ruto was discussed.Wanyonyi said that no room for impeachment but DP should resign and lead the NO team ahead of referendum instead of conducting misleading campaigns against BBI.

6.According to Nyamira senator Okong'o, President argued that the documents was full subjected to public participation and their views well captured hence no one has authority to change anything.

7. The detailed date schedule for plan of action was made. Below is the dates, number of days and plan of action.

8.Between November and December signatures will be collected before they are submitted together with the bill to IEBC. Referendum is set to be conducted between 6th April and 6th June 2021.By 7th-14th June the amendments should have been assented by President.
