According to james Orengo their is no political debt between Raila and the other nasa principles, he agues that, that was a pre election coalition and it is only valid if they could have won the election. The alliance of the four cannot win against Ruto since the four are not very competent I've.

He further states that the four are better off working with and targeting Raila when the process of sending Ruto home is not complete is dangerous and can lead to their failure come 2022.
This comes after Mudavadi while addressing his supporters, claimed that Raila is untrustworthy because he refused to complete hi part of the bargain of the nasa coalition. 
According to Mudavadi, he is ready to serve this country, and does not need anyone to step down for him.
All these things events leave Uhuru with a very tough choice to make about who will succeed him since his popularity is also dwindling as a result of mediocre performance by his government.
