Eyebrows Raised as MP, Jaguar Meets Ruto Days After Rebuking UDA Party in Public

Speculation is rife after vocal Starehe Member of Parliament, Hon. Charles Jaguar met with the Deputy President at his Karen Office. Hon. Jaguar was recently on the headlines for rebuking DP William Ruto after he was denied UDA Party ticket for Starehe Parliament seat.

MP, Jaguar has posted photos of him and his two children standing next to DP Ruto in Karen. Hon. Rigathi Gachagua and Hon. Aden Duale are also some of the politicians who were present.

The UDA Party instead gave the Party ticket to Simon Mbugua after conducting an Opinion Poll which allegedly placed him ahead of the incumbent, Jaguar. The move by UDA forced Jaguar to announce that he was ditching UDA and would vie for the seat as an independent candidate.

The Starehe MP accused William Ruto of corruption and mishandling UDA as a personal political outfit instead of allowing democracy to prevail. Jaguar further alleged that he was promised a seat in East African Legislative Assembly by UDA Party after the August Election.
