The debate about the four embattled Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission Commissioners led by Vice Chair Juliana Cherera has taken a new dimension. This is after the National Assembly through the Justice and Legal Committee recommended that the four embattled IEBC Commissioners should be suspended from office and a committee for inquiry set up.
But Kenyans have been warned against that action on the four embattled IEBC Commissioners. According to Rarieda Constituency Member of Parliament Hon Otiende Amollo, he sent a warning to Members of Parliament, NGOs, Diplomats and churches. He warned them that it is not just about the four embattled IEBC Commissioners but it's the end of Independent Offices and their Constitutional Protection. He added that they will realize this when it is too late.
"To MPs, Commissions, NGOs, Diplomats & Churches; it's not About The #IEBC4; It's the end of Independent Offices & their Constitutional Protection. You'll all realize when it's too late; the Power of PRECEDENT! Mark my words." Tweeted by Rarieda Constituency Member of Parliament Hon Otiende Amollo
