2022 general elections are in a few months time and President Uhuru Kenyatta's second term is coming to an end. Now everyone and the Jubilee party is concerned whether the candidate that the President will support will win the 2022 general election.
President Uhuru is definitely expecting his 2022 Presidential candidate to be voted in massively but he might be in for a big surprise:
The coronation of Justin Muturi as Mount Kenya region spokesman and the party that he will choose to join will affect the 2022 elections greatly. The President must hope that Muturi will join his party. If Muturi joins the opponent's party, then the Mount Kenya region votes will be divided.
2. The recent opposition against President Uhuru Kenyatta's decisions.
In 2021, many citizens have been against the president's decisions which include acquiring many international loans from the IMF. This might be against the president. Many citizens might fear that the candidate that the president will support will acquire more and more loans.
What do you think might happen in 2022 presidential elections?
