President Uhuru Breaks Silence On The Partial Lockdown In The Country Ahead Of Easter Holiday

His excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta brought the country to a standstill when he announced a partial lockdown in counties of Nairobi, Nakuru, Machakos, Kiambu and Kajiado on 26th March, 2021.

Today being 1st of April 2021, he addressed the nation regarding the issue of partial lockdown because Kenyans cried to him to end the lockdown.

In his speech, he has made it clear that the lockdown is for the good of his citizens. He also admitted that the economy of the country is not at its best and by locking the hotspots of the virus in the Country.

His excellency has urged people to follow all the regulations set to reduce the spread of the deadly virus because it's a two way rescue mission. Moreover, he added that it is everyone responsibility to take care of themselves and their neighbours.

About the vaccine, he encouraged people to take the vaccine and those in the front line ad the most vulnerable should be given the first priority. Everyone who gets the first vaccine will not miss out on the second dose and his government is working day and night to ensure that everyone is vaccinated.
