According to the recent tweet by Kenya. co. ke, Uasin Gishu Speaker of the Country assembly, David Kiplagat, has suggested that Raila should retire for the country to move forward. " There is a lot of dishonesty in Kenyan politics. This dishonesty cannot be resolved if we keep going in the direction of tribal coalition. For the sake of moving this country forward, Raila Odinga should retire", Kiplagat tweeted.Since Uasin Gishu is the hometown of deputy president, William Ruto, Kiplagat may be speaking on behalf of the people of that region. We are all aware that Raila and Ruto have been throwing political jabs at each other. They have political differences and the situation became worse after the handshake of Raila and Uhuru.

Raila Odinga has not yet declared whether he will run for the presidency in 2022. However, he has remained with a shorter time to make that decision. He recently said that he will not support anyone from the previous NASA team. He said they are cowards and that's why they did not turn up when he was sworn in in 2018.

Do you think it's best if Raila retires?
