Kenyans are eagerly waiting for Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Chairman Wafula Chebukati to announce the Presidential polls winner.
The presidential polls had four Contestants, William Ruto, Raila Odinga , George Wajackoyah and Wahiga Mwaure. The process of tallying the results has been ongoing for days now.
Currently, all the verification desks are now empty at Bomas. The diplomats area is is slowly being occupied by people unlike previous days when it has been empty. Security is very tight. IEBC Chairman Chebukati is expected to announce the Presidential winner anytime from now.
Chebukati had earlier promised Kenyans that the whole elections process was conducted transparently and the results will be free and fair.
Renowned people and Religious leaders have urged Kenyans around the country to remain peaceful after the results have been released. Kenyans have been urged to avoid violence at any cost to avoid lose of lives like the past elections where many people lost their lives.
