The Kenyatta family was today put on headlines after it was found that the family has over Ksh $30 Million overseas. This is something that sparked mixed reactions to an extent it triggered immediate investigation into their wealth. According to reports by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, it was found that everything is not well despite the large wealth owned by the family.
It is said that search of public records in BVI and Panama found that most of the companies linked to the Kenyatta family are now dormant. As this happens, some of them are dormant as a result of not paying the regulatory fees. This report was revealed by BBC news.
What has left many people dilemma is the approximate total wealth owned by the family. The wealth is owned by about 6 members of the family tracing back to the first president of Kenya, Jomo Kenyatta.
