Analyst Names 2 Ruto's CS Nominees Who Presented Poorly During Vetting

Didmas Mokua, a renowned political analyst has selected two Cabinet Secretaries nominated by President William Ruto who he says did not impress during the vetting process.

A total of 24 Cabinet nominees appeared before the appointment committee in an activity that kicked off on Monday and ended on Saturday October 22.

While speaking to KTN today morning, Mokua had the opportunity to evaluate the Cabinet nominees who he said have higher chances of being confirmed following the number that Ruto-led Kenya Kwanza team has in the National Assembly.

However, despite waxing lyrical about some Cabinet nominees who he said did well during presentation, Didmas also selected two nominees who he said found challenge to face the committee.

The analyst says that Peninah Molonza who is nominated as Cabinet Secretary for Tourism and Rebecca Miano who is also nominated as Cabinet Secretary for East Africa Community.

"The Nominee for Tourism did not hit the high level and according to my view did not show that she understands her docket, but maybe she was under pressure. And also the nominee in charge of EAC, she did not proactively tell Kenyans how she is going to work with other members of EAC." Didmas said.
