Now that Kenyans have already casted their lots, all that is remaining is for the electoral body_IEBC to announce who between the self-crowned chief hustler_William Samoei Ruto and Raila Amollo Odinga will steer the country between 2022 and 2027.
Of the aforenamed political heavyweights, preliminary results from IEBC shows that Kenya Kwanza presidential flagbearer is better placed to clinch presidency. Now that the tallying and verification exercise is on it's decelerating phase, will the son of Sugoi maintain his lead? Well, not exactly, that's according to ODM chairman_John Mbadi.
Through his Facebook page, Mbadi on Monday morning shared a 4-word post attached with a blue theme saying 'we are going there'. The named theme is associated with Azimio party and Mbadi's declaration means that the presidential race will predictably be Raila's.
The Suba Member of Parliament (MP) is among the political operatives who are pulling their bootsraps to see to it that whoever occupies the house on the hill after Uhuru Kenyatta's exit does not have William Ruto for names.
IEBC is set to announce the presidential winner between between today and tomorrow. Now that the defining moment is hours away, will Ruto disapprove Mbadi and team? Well, time will tell.
