Expert Reveal How Uhuru Should Campaign For Raila in Mt Kenya as he Warns Him Against Public Rallies

With indications that President Uhuru Kenyatta will likely start campaigning for his favored presidential candidate, Raila Odinga, shortly after June 1st, political expert Herman Manyora has urged him against holding public rallies.

Manyora believes that a private meeting with leaders is preferable to Uhuru's 200 public rallies, which he believes will be more damaging to Raila than if the Jubilee party leader engages in 'behind the scenes' politics.

According to him, the president should avoid any public rally where he is invited to pitch for the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance presidential candidate, particularly in the Mount Kenya region, where residents may heckle him and thereby harm Raila's State House ambition.

"If Uhuru is to advocate for Raila, he will offer him the ideal campaign strategy: behind the scenes. Talking to people groups and offering incentives here and there, as well as reassuring the Kalonzos, are his priorities."

"You should also consider that Mt Kenya has been unfriendly to him in the past, and that they may heckle him. This would reflect badly on him and Raila's campaigns. He should be very cautious about how he campaigns for Raila "Manyora stated.

Other political experts think that if Uhuru is elected, Kenyans will label Raila as a project, a label they claimed was softened when he chose Martha Karua as his running partner instead of Sabina Chege or Peter Kenneth, as offered by the Jubilee party

In this VIDEO from Minute 13, listen to Manyora's sentiments.
