The Siaya County governor Honourable James Orengo has been installed as the Luo Council of Elders Patron and this was done in a very colorful ceremony in Siaya.

James Orengo will now be the Patron of the highly regarded group of elders in the Luo community, Siaya County Chapter.


While sharing this information on his social media pages just after his installation, he stated that and I quote him "Am honoured to be part of this great team charged with the responsibility of preserving our culture."
