The race to succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta as the fifth president of Kenya has already taken shape. Leaders from different political divides are burning the midnight oil to ensure that they form coalitions with influential political leaders that will ensure they occupy State House next year. DP Ruto who is one of the contestants of the presidency has been pulling together resources that will enable him win the presidential seat with a large margin.
With his political influence, Ruto has ensured that his team has influential women to that are loved by the people and are gullible. The women in the team will ensure that there is an equal balance in gender sensitivity and bring votes of most women into their budget.
Today, the deputy president William Ruto has hosted Malindi member of parliament Aisha Jumwa and Nakuru senator Susan Kihika in his Karen home. The two women leaders are considered very much influential in their counties and will be vying for governorship come the year 2022 general elections.
