A top governor from Western Kenya is likely to find himself in a very tight corner after his own deputy threatened to expose him to the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission.

According to the Star newspaper, the Deputy laments that his boss has been stealing from the public resources and has built himself a fortune over time.

However, the governor has not at all allowed his Deputy to tap into the corrupt dealings which is likely to leave him broke if they are not re-elected this coming general elections.

He has also disclosed that the two of them are not likely to be re-elected and the governor's attention is on how they can get more wealth before they leave office in August.

"The deputy governor has been telling everyone who cares to listen how the county boss, who is facing a difficult reelection bid, has been short-changing him in kickbacks raised from tenders."The Star newspaper reports.

He has promised to reveal all corruption scandals perpetrated by his boss to the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission boss Twalib Mbarak (pictured).
