Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi has affirmed that he has kept in touch with the recorder of ideological groups planning to pull out his party, the Pamoja African Alliance (PAA), from the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party.
The party is looking to pull out its mark from the alliance understanding stored in March this year, following the aftermath with top heads of the Azimio alliance.
We affirm that Pamoja African Alliance vides its letter dated 25th of April, 2022, has kept in touch with the Registrar Of Political Parties looking to pull out from the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party because of reasons expressed in that," said Kingi.
PAA's National Executive Council (NEC) asserts that the party has been kept in obscurity over Azimio's undertakings and has been not able to get to the alliance arrangement or figure out its terms.
Despite consenting to the arrangement 20 days prior, no duplicates have been provided… therefore, the planned enrollment of the PAA party in the Azimio alliance party howsoever stops forthwith. PAA has never been and declines to be an individual from the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition party," PAA said in its letter to the recorder of ideological groups.
