ODM Leader Hon Raila Odinga's alleged attempts to sit down with President-elect William Ruto and come up with a working plan just like President Uhuru Kenyatta have been frustrated after the UDA boss said he has no time to engage in a slideshow. Having not given up, Raila is also reported to have called Rigathi Gachagua to try and talk to his boss but the trial hit a dead end when the Ex-Mathira MP also said that there is no room for such engagememts.Speaking to another local media station on Thursday as reported by Kenyans.co.ke, Gachagua has also claimed that President Uhuru Kenyatta lied to Raila that Mt Kenya was with him forgetting that the will of the people cannot be subverted.
"I received a call from an Azimio politician who beseeched us to have a sit-down and converse in a bid to bring back the handshake scenario. That is not going to happen. Their work is to provide oversight of our government," he stated.
