Tribalism or Nepotism? Kenyans Angrily React After President Uhuru Appointed Ngugi as The Chairman

A section of Kenyans took to social media to express their anger after President Uhuru Kenyatta appointed David Ngugi as the chairman of the National Council for Population and Development Board for 3 years starting May 21, 2021.

One Kenyan identified as Giddy Rono, in what appeared as attacking the president over tribalism, quoted that, "Thank you Mr. President for that inclusivity. We will pass BBI so that you can still appoint many other Kimani's to different parastatals.

In his statement, the person indirectly expressed his opinion by noting that the president has failed to consider inclusivity during his appointment.

On the other hand, Silas, who shared his view on the same, has accused President Uhuru of nepotism, all he does is to appoint his close friends and relatives contrary to what Kenyans are thinking. He went on claiming that a common Kikuyu is suffering.

"UHURU is rewarding his friends, family members n sycophants, not Kikuyus. a common Kikuyu man or woman does not benefit from this appointments."
