As we approach 2022 general election, political leaders have been having a series of meetings.Some of the meeting has resulted in the strengthening of unity and equality of the people across the nation.President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to retire in 2022 as per 2010 constitution.Succession politics have been gaining momentum day by day as politicians from different region fight for the seat.
President Uhuru Kenyatta has today met with high ranked leaders from coastal region.Few months ago coastal leaders had revealed that,the region had to come up with coastal region party.
Honourable Oscar Sudi has reacted following the president meeting with coastal leaders.According to him,the head of state is using divide and rule method.
Oscar Sudi said"These are Uhuru's dirty political tricks. He wants to empower tribal chiefs by building village parties for them. This is pure divide and rule theory at play. He's unhappy that Hustler Movement has changed the conversation to a tribeless one. Wakenya sio wajinga".
