The leaders who have declared their interest includes Jimmy Wanjigi, Musalia Mudavadi (ANC), Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper), Dr Alfred Mutua Maendeleo (Chap Chap), Dr William Ruto (UDA), Raila Odinga (Odm) amongst others.
However, each leader have his or her own unique characteristics that can enable him clinch the top seat in the land with ease. But one will have to ensure that he/ she manage to woo kenyans in all corners of the country.
However, DP Ruto is perceived to posses some advantages over the the other in that he is the deputy president and hence he enjoys and stands an upper hand as compared to the rest.
Secondly he has gone through very hard times in hand of his boss after parting ways in 2017 and many kenyans are not happy. Just like 2013 he is likely to benefit from sympathy votes and clinch the top seat in the land.
Thirdly Ruto is a leader who is very wise politically, in fact some people calls him a political genius. It's in public domain that after the humiliation Ruto has never confronted the president directly since he is very aware of the repurcusion.
Owing to the factors DP William Ruto is likely to defeat other leaders with ease in the upcoming general election and be the fifth president of Kenya.
