In his official Facebook page Kieni member of parliament honourable Kanini hinted at ditching Raila Odinga in favour of the president candidate that his people want. Kanini Kega has been a strong defender and supporter of Raila Odinga and the BBI condemning those attacking him especially from the mountain.Kanini Kega decisions to listen to the ground comes after Kirinyaga County Governor Ann Waiguru promised to listen to the ground and after listening he left president Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga in favour of DP William Ruto despite standing with them for a long period of time and attacking those against their position.
Kanini Kega was amongst the leaders who were playing a very crucial role in helping Raila Odinga in his journey to climb the mountain. He has been attacking Mt Kenya leaders allied to DP William Ruto claiming that they are misleading the mountain by bringing the a corrupt leader in the region.
In case honorable Kanini Kega ditches Raila Odinga then it will be a huge blow to the former premier as Kanini Kega played a very crucial role in selling Raila Odinga in the region that is very rich in votes
