Why One Kenya Alliance (OKA) Might Fall Before The Polls (Opinion)

Kenyan 2022 race is almost at the corner as many political bigwigs are rotating selling their agendas. At the moment, the frontrunners remain Odinga and Deputy Ruto.

Other aspirants that have also made their declarations for the presidential race are: Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi, Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, KANU party leader Gideon Moi and Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula.

The four One Kenya Alliance (OKA) members.

The above OKA members are seen rotating the nation selling their political agendas. These four key politicians might not reach up to the polls when still united due to the following reasons:

1. Honorable Kalanzo and honorable Mudavadi might not be ready to stepdown for each other or any other member as both would wish to be the kingpin of their regions and this could only be possible if they go up to the ballot box. The two cannot be the flag bearer of one alliance at the same time, to mean they might separate.

2. Honorable Gideon Moi might withdraw his membership from OKA and support Raila for the favour of his friend President Kenyatta who supports Raila. This could make the OKA members to part ways.
