Amason Kingi Breaks Silence, Reveals Why He Skipped DP Ruto's Three Day Coastal Rally

The deputy president Dr William Ruto led Kenya Kwanza Alliance troop at the coastal region to drum support for his presidential bid in the forthcoming general election scheduled to take place in August ninth this year.

Ruto pitched camp at the coast since Friday last week to yesterday, during his rallies it was noticed that Kilifi governor Amason Kingi who is also Pamoja African Alliance party leader missed the events.

Today, Kingi has broken his silence revealing that he skipped deputy president Dr Ruto's political rallies because he was attending to family issues.

Kingi has told the Star Kenya that he missed out on DP Ruto's coastal rally because he was out of the region attending to family issues.

In conclusion, this comes after Kingi was named as the deputy president's chief campaigner in the coastal region after ditching Azimio camp of Raila Odinga and joining Kenya Kwanza of William Ruto.
