It is mandatory that one appears at the registration centre with their original ID cards whereby they will fill the form A ( registration form) and thereafter issued with an acknowledgement slip.
Update of the voter registry has eliscited various reactions among various leaders particularly Beatrice Elachi. She asserts that Seasoned politicians tend to panic when mass voter registration has kicked off.
Elachi explains that the politicians dread the exercise because they fear that they could be removed from power by the new regime of voters. Moreover, Elachi says the new voters would be in a mission to bring about a paradigm shift in the management of public office in the country.
The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission is targeting to register at least six million new voters.
