Reactions As Atwoli Admits Workers Will Accept Any President Sworn In After Supreme Court Case.

The confederation of trade unions of Kenya (COTU) secretary general Francis Atwoli on Friday urged kenyans to be calm amidst the election dispute.

He admitted that the kenyan Workers will accept either president elect William Ruto or the former prime minister Raila Odinga depending on the verdict of the supreme court.

He expressed confidence that the situation in the country will remain peaceful given that two foremost contenders William Ruto and Raila Odinga have promised to respect the verdict of the court.

At the same time, Atwoli warned netizens Against posting inciting messages online as that isn't good for peace and stability.

His sentiments have since elicited mixed reactions from a cross section of kenyans with some noting the change in Atwoli's tone.

It's worth noting that Atwoli was on record before elections claiming that Ruto won't become president.
