A Ugandan Man by the name Anatoli Kiiza has asked the Ugandan authorities to allow him test his locally made missile on Ugandan soil. The no nonsense Museveni goverment arrested him in 2017 when he made the same request.
Anatoli also claims that he is capable of making a rocket launcher. Uganda and other African counties rarely manufacture such explosives, they over rely on foreign countries who earn by selling such Military instruments to African countries.
Although the Ugandan government has not yet responded, chances of Anatoli's requests going are minimal - he might be arrested. Museveni might be afraid that his Political enemies might contract Anatoli to manufacture many missiles to be used in the coup.
In most occasions, African countries fail to Support such young Innovative minds. African countries need to come up with ways to cream such Innovative persons and grow their talents. Creaming of such unique talented individuals can prop up the process of industrialization in Africa as a continent.
