The August general elections has been channeled to a a war between the dynasty and Hustlers, as deputy President William Ruto believes that Kenya will make history by electing someone whose parents are not known.
However, the second in command and his brigade have been accusing his rivals lead by former prime minister Raila Odinga that they grew in rich families, hence they do not know the problems the common mwananchi go through, including prices of basic commodities like cooking flour, cooking oil and others.
However, while addressing Mombasa residents on Saturday, FORD Kenya party leader Moses Wetang'ula who is also a Kenya Kwanza alliance principal made hustlers angry after he also proved that he doesn't know the price of cooking oil.
This is after the lawmaker said a liter of cooking oil goes for 170 shillings, contrary to the actual price that has sky rocketed to approximately 400 shillings for some brands, eliciting angry reactions from Kenyans who corrected him immediately.
"I want to say that 9th of August will be a vote like no other, it will be a day of change in Kenya. Since independence, commodities have never skyrocketed in prices like today, cooking flour goes for more than 200, Cooking oil now goes for 170," Wetang'ula said.
