Some few days ago, the wife of the former freedom fighter field marshal Dedan Kimathi came out to beg the goverment to come in place and settle her hospital bill. According to the standard, Mama Mukami Kimathi had a bill of over 1 million shillings at Nairobi Hospital.
Now, some few minutes ago, the president of this country hon William Ruto came out to clear Mukami Kimathi's hospital bill. According to hon Rigathi Gachagua who had visited Mukami at Nairobi Hospital, the head of state cleared all the bill. This means that Ruto gave out shs 1,045,883 to clear this debt. The said amount had been announced by Kimathi's family as the pending hospital bill for the ailing mother.
"As of Thursday, January 12, the bill stood at Sh1,045,883 according to hospital records seen by The Standard. Her daughter, Miriam, said that the family is unable to clear the bill with efforts to reach out to President William Ruto's office and that of his Deputy Rigathi Gachagua for assistance proving futile." Said the reports.
