JUST IN: President Uhuru Attends The Executive Sessions of Commonwealth in Kigali

The President of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta, yesterday jetted out of the country to Kigali,, Rwanda where he was scheduled to attend the Commonwealth Conference in the country that is being held there.

Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Raychelle Omamo and Kenyan High Commisioner to The United Kingdom, Manu Esipisu were there to welcome the Kenyan President when he landed in Kigali yesterday night.

The conference has gone on without any glitch with some meetings being held today which were very important to the more than 50 member states.

This evening, according to reliable reports from the State House Kenya, President Uhuru Kenyatta is reported to have attended the executive sessions with the CHOGM2022 as per the reports.

President Uhuru Kenyatta together with other leaders are said to have attended the executive sessions of the 2022 CHOGM summit in Kigali where the various leaders talked on the priorities of the Commonwealth and effectively re-elected Patricia Scotland as the Secretary-General of the Commonwealth.

The President is yet to leave the country to jet back to Nairobi for his other official duties as per the reports that we have.
