Raila's ODM campaigns were taken to Kakamega county for a series of political rallies at Lurambi constituency and Bunyala West ward in Navakholo sub-county as they solidify support for Raila's presidential bid. The teams were led by Dr Brian Lishenga who is aspiring to be the senator of kakamega county using Raila's ODM ticket and the ODM gubenatorial candidate for Kakamega county, Fernandes Barasa. They were accompanied by a host of aspirants who supports Raila's candidature as they sell the Azimio gospel to the residents.
The teams were warmly received by hundreds of residents who turned out to grace their rally as they accord them a heroic reception. The team urged the residents to support Raila's presidential bid as they assures them that their administration under Raila's government will promote the agricultural sector of the region through investing in the processing industries to improve the quality of farm produces such as sugarcane. They also promised to empower the youths and women from the region through creating opportunities for them that will enable them raise their living standards.
