Recently, a Tangatanga vocal ally took a swipe on ODM lawyer over his stand on the impeachment motion of Wajir governor Mohamed Andi. Donald Kipkorir clashed with Ahmednassir. In his remarks Kipkorir attacked Ahmednassir by telling the Senior Counsel that since 2003 when he decided to defect to UDA he has been a staunch supporter of the government of the day. Infact for the past 8 years he has been praising his beloved Jubilee government and its development record. Kipkorir added that he is now surprised to hear that NFD isn't connected to KPLC.
The ODM lawyer also said that the politics in North Eastern is underpinned by clanism more than pragmatic and transparent democracy. He added that the Senate Committee Report may have convicted Wajir Governor Mohamed Abdi but the whole house has discretionary power to confirm the conviction or acquit him. I urge acquittal, he claimed.
After his remarks Ahmednassir reacted and said please Don, this is not Cheptongei. The Governor of Wajir is being impeached by his own clan,he claimed. You always comment on topics you know zero about and that let him know that Wajir people are not like Cheptongei who are just natives. Ahmednassir also claimed that the impeachment of governor Muhammad Abdi of Wajir by the Senate is God's miracle and evidence that God has extended His mercy and blessings on the good people of Wajir.
