Bill Arocho, the twin brother to Radio Jambo’s presenter Fred Arocho and the private bodyguard to former president Uhuru Kenyatta and Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga, called it a quit on his career of providing security for very important persons in the country.
Mr Arocho was highly visible during former president Uhuru Kenyatta’s 10-year tenure, and also provided private security services to Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga.
He had especially been visible during the 2013 and 2017 elections in which Uhuru Kenyatta successfully vied for the presidency with William Ruto as his deputy and in the 2022 presidential election in which Uhuru Kenyatta backed Raila Odinga’s candidacy over William Ruto’s.
In 2018, he was awarded a Head of State Commendation (HSC) by the president.
