The Following Mt. Kenya Leaders In A Dilemma On Whether To Support Ruto or Raila

This is a period where decisions must be made. However, people fear consequences of their choices and that's why the dilemma among leaders from Mt. Kenya region is unavoidable. Several prominent Mt. Kenya Leaders are unable to make the next moves since they are not sure of the outcome.

One, they are not sure of their people's interest and the same time they don't want to be out of the next government. So deciding whether to support Ruth or Raila has become a tough calculation to the following leaders.

1. Martha Karua

This iron lady has been in politics for So long, and she knows what it means to be in government and to be outside the government. When asked, she has not clearly disclosed whom to support between Ruto and Raila, and therefore it has become almost difficult to predict where she is.

2. Mwangi Kiunjuri

He is a famous politician from the central region. Currently, he is running his own political party, which he insists on being independent of the current alliances being formed. He says that Mt. Kenya will vote for that person who will present the best deal on the table.

3. Cate Waruguru

Cate is the current Laikipia women Rep. Through her previous Facebook posts, it was clear that she was in support of Raila Odinga. However, she is noted to have changed the tune, of which she has not yet clear over this issue.

4. Kimani Wamatangi

Unlike many Mt. Kenya Leaders, Wamatangi has remained silent over whom to support for the presidential race come 2022 general elections. In many interviews, Kimani has only shown the good sides of Ruto and Raila. He has been smartly placing his cards.

5.Ann Waiguru

Some weeks before the Mashujaa day,Waiguru recognized Ruto's capability of leading the nation. However, she was heard changing her mind on Ruto's presidential bid.

The above leaders are very instrumental in Mt.Kenya politics.Do you think they are working smart?
