On November 30, Jubilee party are planning to conduct the delegates conference that seeks to kick out allies of Deputy President William Ruto from the ruling outfit and pave way for a new team allied to the Kieleweke wing.
Ruto has been visiting various parts of the country popularizing his new party, United Democratic Alliance(UDA) after the fallout with President Kenyatta.
Following that the Jubilee party politicians are fronting for Super Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i to replace Ruto.
Jubilee Party politicians argued that Dr. Matiangi was best fit to replace Ruto as party deputy and that it would be proper if Jubilee Party leadership considered picking on.
Led by Jimmy Angwenyi, they added that it is in Fred Matiang’i that the ailing Jubilee Party could get back its life due to his ability in leadership.
“We met here to prepare for our NDC and we made a resolution that we have a leader and we support our leader who is Fred Matiang’i,” Angwenyi stated.
Nyamira Woman Representative Jerusa Momanyi added her weight on the proposal and urged everyone else to support the resolution.
“We know that there are several resolutions which are going to be taken and as a community. We are ready to take the resolutions to the Jubilee party and again we have identified Fred Matiang’i who we are going to support. He is going to lead us,” Momanyi said.
