Today, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission held by-elections in six different areas. The voting exercise begun in the morning and was closed at 5pm. The by-elections included Senatorial mini poll in Bungoma County as well as elections for Members of County Assembly in Ololmasani Ward (Narok County), Kyome/Thaana Ward (Kitui County), Utawala Ward (Nairobi City County), Mumias North Ward (Kakamega County) & South Gem Ward (Siaya County).
Voting was successful in the six by-election areas across the country and counting is underway.
As the vote tallying continues, it has emerged that Azimio La Umoja One Kenya coalition has allegedly won the mini poll in Utawala Ward. This is after Embakasi East MP Babu Owino stated that Hon.Patrick Karani had allegedly defeated UDA candidate.
