National assembly speaker and one of the presidential aspirants during 2022 general elections Justin Muturi has aimed shots at the former prime minister Raila Odinga over hotel meetings ahead of next year's elections.
While speaking on K24 tv on Monday, Muturi termed these regular meetings by leaders as a form of alignments not helpful as at the end of the day they will have to go to the grassroots where the voters are.
"It is true people will be moving and aligning themselves, but at the end of the day, these hotel meetings will not be helpful people need to go to the grassroots ,that is where the voter is, not in hotels,"he said.
His sentiments were seen as if he was throwing shots at the former prime minister Raila Odinga who has been meeting his supporters from Mt Kenya region in hotels to draft strategies on endorsing his 2022 presidential bid.
