The Star Newspaper has reported that Winnie Odinga was absent from the meeting with many questioning why she was the only EALA MP absent from the meeting. Winnie Odinga's absence from the meeting comes at a time when his father, Raila Odinga is planning to consult Kenyans at Kamukunji grounds starting on Wednesday 12th December.

Junet Mohamed has now alleged that Winnie Odinga didn not attend President William Ruto's meeting with the EALA MPs because she is preparing for the kamukunji meeting which will be led by his fathe, Raila Odinga.
Kenyans are eagerly waiting to see how Raila Odinga's meeting with his supporters at Kamukunji grounds will turn out. President William Ruto had urged the ODM Party Leader to alert Interior CS, Kithure Kindiki of his planned meeting with Kenyans so that security can be deployed.
