The Deputy President William Ruto, on Saturday the 2nd of June 2022 led the Kenya Kwanza campaigns in the Mt. Kenya region, ahead of the upcoming general elections, a few days after launching their Manifestos.
The deputy President William Ruto was accompanied by several Mt. Kenya Leaders including his running mate, the Mathira Member of Parliament hon. Rigathi Gachagua.
The team started in Tharaka Nithi County making several stopovers, before wrapping up their campaign in Meru county until late in the Night. Photos of the second in command campaigning past 7 pm is what left people talking. People were captured holding on to their torches as they listen to William Ruto.
Some Kenyans hailed the Second in Command over his relentless efforts. They cited that they have nothing but respect for him. Others saluted the people of Meru for turning out in large numbers to welcome deputy President William Ruto. They also hailed the enthusiasm exhibited by Meru residents as they listen to William ut .
