
Kimani Ngunjiri who is the immediate member of parliament for Bahati constituency in Nakuru county,has revealed he refused a cabinet appointment to be a cabinet secretary in president Ruto's adminstration.The MP revealed during an interview at K24 on Thursday,12th January that he would now be amongst the CSs who were unveiled in September 2022, had he accepted the offer.

The former MP was appearing on K24 TV together with former UDA vice chair Kipruto Arap Kirwa for a political discussion.Kimani Ngunjiri alleged that he asked for a lesser job from the head of state.
"It is not a must for me and Arap Kirwa to be in government, because we were not born to be in government forever .The President had offered me to be a minister but I refused, I said no, I want a lesser seat," he revealed.

The former MP shared that he was no longer interested in active politics because of his advanced age.
