Gideon Moi hosts KANU and Jubilee leaders before hitting the ground to popularize Raila's bid

KANU national chairman Gideon Moi has embarked on a series of consultative meetings before hitting the ground to popularize Raila's presidential bid in different parts of the country.

Yesterday he hosted KANU national campaign coordination committee in Nairobi for a strategy meeting. Senator Gideon Moi publicly announced that his party is firmly in Azimio movement and their presidential candidate is Raila Odinga.

Several KANU party elected leaders attended the meeting. They included Baringo women representative Gadwell Tungo, Samburu West legislator Neisuda, KANU party executive director George Wanaina and secretary of strategy and political affairs Fredrick Okango.

Today he hosted another delegation from Wajir county. He discussed several issues with the team from Wajir county and thanked them for remaining steadfast ahead of the August polls.

" We thank our aspirants from Wajir county for remaining steadfast as we head into the election" said senator Gideon Moi.

The team included; Wajir Jubilee gubernatorial candidate Hassan Mohammed, KANU senatorial candidate Ibrahim Sheikk and Jubilee women representative Fatuma Gedi.

The Wajir Azimio brigade is facing stiff competition from UDA brigade in the county led by deputy governor Muktar who is the UDA gubernatorial candidate. The current Wajir governor Ahmed is seeking his reelection as an independent candidate after failing to secure Jubilee party ticket.
