Kilifi ODM Governor candidate Gideon Mung'aro trounced his UDA counterpart Aisha Jumwa to secure the seat. Mung'aro garnered 143,773 votes with Jumwa scooping 65,893 votes. George Kithi of the Pamoja African Alliance (PAA) party was third with 64,321 votes.
