According to eyewitnesses, the police arrested one man Urbanus Ngengele after he was accused to be associated with DP Ruto's UDA Party in the current Machakos Senatorial by-election.
The man was later apprehended offering voters with bribery of Sh 50 notes at Masii DEB Primary School in Mwala.
"I have today exercised my democratic right and voted for my candidate of choice for the Machakos Senatorial by-election at Mathatani Primary School. I encourage the people of Machakos to turn out in large numbers and vote." Alfred Mutua.
