It is now getting more and more apparent that former Prime Minister and ODM head Raila Odinga aka Baba will be vying for presidency in next year's general elections. Despite him announcing earlier that he will be giving his stand about 2022 general elections come next month, he has been hinting here and there that he might stand as a candidate.
One of his Facebook posts hinted at him giving the youth a priority in his government, and of course that would only be possible if he did vie for presidency. On his post, he mentioned that his house would have enough space, but the youths will get the most space.
"Baba’s house will have many rooms; I have reserved the biggest one for our Youth, " read Raila Odinga's post.
This post elicited a lot of reactions from Kenyans, who were quick to commment and approve their support for Baba.
One supporter wrote: "Whenever I see Raila being happy God in heaven adds me happiness. Baba I will forever be your supporter no matter what you're the best for me and for someone out there."
"I will never stop supporting Baba. You know what is best for our youths and I have not forgotten where you promised to take us.I must be among those who will visit the country to borrow knowledge and bring back home. Baba, I will change my citizenship if you don't become the 5th president, " another one commented.
Several other reactions from Kenyans are captured below:
