Deputy President William Ruto has received a major boost after United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Secretary General, Veronica Maina, opened the first UDA County office in Lamu County.
The new UDA party office which is a first of the many the party will establish across the country is located near the bustling hustler business district near the coastline.
Among the issues discussed and agreed on during the office opening included Mass registration of Voters, Mass registration of UDA members as well as Free & Fair nomination and the party's Bottom-up Economic model.
Among those present at the opening of the new party offices were Senator Anwar Loitiptip, Hon. Sharif Athman Lamu East MP and all Lamu County aspirants led by Gubernatorial aspirant Umar Omar.
Among other notable leaders present to witness the special occasion were the UDA Lamu coordinators Omar Maulana & Mohamed Shariff, Mombasa Coordinator Sameer Omar, Kwale Coordinator Richard Masuki, Tana River Coordinator Khalif Abdi.
