“Kuoa Siku Hizi Imekua Ngumu” What Mutua Said During DP Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza Rally

Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua while campaigning for Deputy President William Ruto has said that youths in the country are not getting married because they don’t have money.

Mutua said youths are suffering because they don’t have jobs and when young men approach ladies they get rejected because they don’t have money.

The Governor who was speaking during Kenya Kwanza rally in Kwale County said life has become hard and the next government needs to address challenges that many Kenyans are suffering.

According to Mutua, the right person to bring the change that Kenyans need is DP Ruto claiming he and his team will ensure youths get jobs and they will also improve the economy.

“In the Western countries, people who are 20 years old are driving. Kijana uko na gari? Uko ata na baiskeli. Umeoa? Kuoa siku hizi imekua ngumu juu huna pesa. (Getting married has become hard because of lack of money),” said Mutua.

“We ask ourselves, were we born to suffer every time? People don’t have money in their pockets, youths don’t have jobs and women are suffering. And we are here to say the time to change our lives has come,” added Mutua.
