Today, co-operative officials attended Ushirika Day celebrations at the KICC under the direction of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The Kenyan president, however, criticised William Ruto and his close associates during his speech for making promises to the people of Kenya while they still held political power.
Uhuru Kenyatta asserted that although Ruto and his staff have been in office for a considerable amount of time, they have done nothing more than 'yap' about the nation.
In order to avoid falling for empty promises from politicians who have been criticising him, Uhuru has urged Kenyans to vote wisely.
President Uhuru Kenyatta was speaking about a good leader, saying that a good leader can lead people to do good things. However, not all leaders are willing to work for Kenyans.
