The Cabinet Secretary, Aisha Jumwa told Kenyans that the campaign period was already over and politicians have united to deliver to Kenyans after she attended an event with Azimio leaders in Kilifi.
Speaking during the Thanksgiving ceremony held in Kilifi County, she said that Politicians have now united regardless of their stand during the 2022 general election. In support of her statement, she told people that during the campaigns, she didn't sit together with the former prime minister Raila Odinga, and Kilifi Governor because of their political differences. However, they were together with Raila Odinga and the Kilifi governor during the event. According to her, this proved that leaders have forgotten the past and decided to work together.
She also said that William Ruto is the president of Kenya and no one can deny that. In addition, she said that even Raila Odinga would agree with her that Ruto is now the Head of State.
