Former president Uhuru Kenyatta who had ruled the country as the head of state and government between 2013 to 2022 might fail to enjoy his retirement benefits in the country days after retiring as the head of state and government.
According to the latest reports seem by the STAR, former president Uhuru Kenyatta has to resign as the Leader of the Jubilee party which he is currently the party leader and most importantly resigned as the Azimio La Umoja chairperson before he could start enjoying the benefits of his retirements as prescribed in the Kenyan constitution.
This this fails to happen, the former head of state will not enjoy the retirement be efits not until he resigns from the positions which is upto him to decide. Uhuru had earlier indicated that he would lead the opposition team under the Azimio hence its just a matter of time of wait and see if he will resign.
