Raila is creating rallies intended to support the four top officials of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission who are facing removal through a tribunal formed by the President. One of the commissioner, Mr Justus, resigned from office.Raila assures kenyans that with the benefits of history, He and his party Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition will protest and resist much more strongly than he did in Kibaki's era.
He faulted the decision by the government to send home four IEBC commissioners, by saying that President Ruto is laying the ground for rigging the 2027 General Election, he also says that the four are being forced out because William Ruto and United Democratic Alliance administration want a clean slate at the IEBC and fill it with his stooges and henchmen for 2027. Raila strongly say that he will call for more demonstrations, regarding the removal of the IEBC Commissioners who are vice chairperson juliana, commissioners Justus, Irene and Francis.
