Kandara Constituency UDA Nominee, Chege Njuguna
Trade, Investments and Industries cabinet secretary Moses Kuria has come out to speak following the UDA nominations that took place in Kandara constituency on Saturday 26th. 15 aspirants were seeking for the party's ticket but Chege Njuguna emerged the winner.
Moses Kuria has congratulated Njuguna for his deserved win and appreciated the UDA party for carrying out a smooth nomination..
In the concluded August elections, Chege vied on Moses Kuria's led Chama Cha Kazi (CCK) party, but he was floored by Alice Wahome. According to Moses Kuria, Njuguna's win is a clear prove that CCK has been embraced in UDA party.
"As you know, we as CCK dissolved our party and we decided to join UDA party. The Kandara nomination exercise was our first test on whether our decision to join UDA was well embraced. Njuguna Chege was our candidate in CCK back in August and his win in the UDA party primaries is enough prove that CCK is now part of UDA," alluded Moses Kuria. (Watch video from 2 min).
Moses Kuria made these remarks on Sunday evening during an interview with Inooro TV. He maintained that he is committed to turn around the economy of Kenya especially in the trade and industries sectors.
